This year the VCA engaged Leanne Baker from Sense Communication to run our 2020 Cherry Season Launch. The strategy is primarily a media relations campaign to increase awareness of Victorian Cherries and the 2020 season with some influencer engagement.
It was great to see this article appear in The Sunday Age and the Good Food featuring Stephen Riseborough from Cherry Hill promoting the start of the cherry season.
Andrew Fairley from Yarra Valley Cherries was also featured on
3AW Radio providing information on this season's U-Pick farms and different cherry varieties.
